A little bit late going to press however celebrating the success of young people’s achievement is important to Inspiring Community. November 2019 young people that Inspiring Community work with mentored some pupils from William Henry Smith school to deliver a social action project. The group had never met however they had a meeting before hand to share what would be required to do on the day. The young people prepared sandwiches and cakes to provide an afternoon tea for the residents of Ward Court. The group also provided entertainment by playing play your cards right. Young people recieved an AQA unit award. The group shared that being involved in the project had made them feel proud to help others and to be able to listen to stories that had been shared by the residents and seeing other people being happy from their actions.
